Tom Wouters new Managing Director SD Worx Belgium

19 December 2017

Starting from 1 January 2018, Tom Wouters will lead SD Worx Belgium as Managing Director. Steven Van Hoorebeke will continue to be CEO of the SD Worx Group. With this decision, SD Worx is sending a strong message that we are continuing to invest on our local business organisation in Belgium. At SD Worx Belgium, more than 1,800 colleagues serve roughly 55,000 clients ranging from companies with one employee to companies with tens of thousands of employees on the payroll.

Tom Wouters

Tom started his career at SD Worx back in 1995 and has held various positions, including that of CIO. He has been in charge of the Large Enterprises (LE) Division in Belgium since March 2016. Starting from January, Sige Mariën, Director Consulting, will also head the LE Division. Eric Janssens, Director Small & Medium-Sized Enterprises Division, will continue to head the Belgian Small & Medium-sized Division.

“In Belgium, we are market leader with our payroll business. I want to strengthen that strong position even further," says Tom Wouters. "If we want to continue to grow in a saturated market, we must really make a difference. This can be done by further expanding our SME market share and by providing more services to existing clients with, for example, a stronger bundling with our consulting services. We also offer our clients international services, always combined with a local approach that literally stays close to our clients. Growth potential can still be found there. Finally, we are fully committed to digitisation. This is an issue that appeals to our clients. And this does not take people out of the equation, on the contrary. Our colleagues offer our clients added value by collaborating creatively, being proactive, providing smart advice and thereby supplying the quality they have come to expect from us. Our clients will continue to be the focal point in everything we do."
